Mauro Chiarello Ciardo and Luca Esposito were both born in 1978 in Italy.

After studying togheter Cinematography for two years at Milano Film School, they went on working individually for three years on various projects including indipendent features. They both worked as director of photography and camera operator.

In 2005 they decided to create a director photography duo, a unique choice for the italian market. They started making music promos, commercials, documentaries and short movies.

This original way of working toghether on camera and light, it’s their distintive mark and it shows a very personal cinematographic style. Their wide range of skills is the result of a continous and meticulous synthesis of differents artistic visions and sensibilities.

They are currently represented by 9agency in LA for the US market.
